1 Club Easter arrangements
With the Easter break just ahead of us, the junior and senior clubs will not meet for two weeks. There is also no chess coaching on Monday 25th March.
Next meeting dates
Seniors will next meet in Hansfield on Monday April 8th, 730pm, (Gabor will run a coaching session that night)
Juniors will next meet in Mountview Sports Hub on Saturday 13th April, 230pm.
2 IRISH CHESS EVENTS AT EASTER
Please note that whilst the club takes a break over Easter, there are a lot of chess events happening.

FOR EXAMPLE,
Mar 30-1 Apr: this coming weekend will see the Dublin International chess festival. This event will be superb preparation for those juniors planning to play in the Irish Junior chess championships (Apr 5-7th). It is a large chess congress with events to suit all tastes. Many of our top league team players will participate.
APR 5-7 – the Irish Junior chess championships are being held in Dublin.
This championship event is open to all our juniors. It is hoped parents will liaise and arrange car shares etc. Games are long time control and you will have to record your moves on a scoresheet, which is provided.
Good luck to our many juniors playing in the Irish Juniors.
We wish them luck.
A good number of our senior players will also participate in the Dublin International events and we have hopes that prizes will be won!!
