Blanchardstown Chess Club is organising a team battle on lichess.org, for Christmas 2020.
Time: 4:00 pm, 19th December, 2020 (A zoom meeting start at 3:40pm)
Location: lichess.org
Who can join: All the junior players in Ireland, and the parents that play chess, senior players in the club are welcome. It is free to join. Please fill out the following form with your name (player’s name, parent’s name), lichess account name.
How to form a team: Junior players and senior players are randomly assigned to several teams based on their lichess rating. Parents are in one team. Each team has 5 to 10 players.
Tournament Rule:
- Team Battle Arena;
- Time Control: 5 mins + 5 sec
- Duration: 1.5 hours.
- The top 5 players’ scores are used to decide which team wins.
It is open to register until the mid-night 18th December Friday.
