Last Chance Saloon.

Both of our teams have managed to avoid dull end of season non meaning fixtures though Mark and his squad would happily have settled for that. With the table and controllers in a state of additional flux, with points added, taken off & even more taken off…it looks like it is now just a straight shoot out between ourselves and St Benildus, with heaps of pressure now placed on Randolf and the Dinosaur’s shoulders. If the game is drawn, then it all falls down to the results from top board down. St Benildus have used 15 players with only about 3 regulars, but if they play their normal top 2 boards, then they have to be regarded as favourites as both the Junior’s grades have risen this season. We expect the match to be close….for the first hour anyway!
The Invisible first team have to score no worse than 2 points less than Elm Mount to gain promotion and we’ll hear of it probably by next year….there is no sign of a Goodie Bag in the offing….so no commentary!!
Dublin University have been re-instated the Professor’s lost points and will no doubt celebrate winning the league in style…..which will condemn Inchicore to the drop………but who will join them?? …Win or lose, we’re going out for a meal afterwards….see you on Sunday.
