Some points
- If you are a paid up member of the club, and your name is not shown as registered with the ICU (and you are likely to play ICU rated games in the season), please advise the membership officer (John Delaney).
- Club players who wish to use the ICU website, and are current season members of ICU, should contact the Irish Chess Union webmaster for the appropriate website passwords. Simply provide your ICU ID.
- In principle, the club tries to register our club players with the Irish Chess Union once a player joins the club.
- A further set of players may therefore be registered by the club on 1 November. This will happen if new (or returning) players join the club before the end of October.
- Team Captains are again asked to ensure that all players on their Leinster Chess Union team squads have actually joined the Blnchardstown chess club (i.e. via the club website)
NB: it is likely that the Club will not pay any ICU fees due for members after 1 November.. This issue will be discussed at the next committee meeting and a decision taken. Save up to €35 by re-joining promptly!
