As the half way point in the Leinster Senior leagues arrives, our senior team is leading the way in Division 2, the Heidenfeld Cup.
This means that the team (comprised of 8 boards), ably led by Randolf Bruin and Luke Scott, is en route to a remarkable possibility for our club.
Their goal is to travel our senior team from the lowest league right up the full set of Leinster leagues up to Division 1 Armstrong Cup in an astounding short time, winning through each league as they travel. This would itself be a highly prestigious achievement as the Armstrong is dominated by seasoned Irish internationals. Our youthful ambition knows no bounds!
The club wishes the team every success and we will watch their progress with hope and keen interest.
