League News.

Heidenfeld news came via Boards.ie and our top team secured a narrow win over highly placed Inchicore by 4.5-3.5. Gonzaga whacked Bray to move into top spot above us. Once again, the communication silence from our team camp is deafening, and credits the Irish Secret Service. Next time, bar the score….I will make everything up….so guys….how do we know anything if you don’t tell us. We’d love to hear from you, or even a game or two. Perhaps the new aquisition of LCD boards and Clocks will help but no news is NOT good news.

The O’Hanlon team have been boosted this week by (a)…not playing  (b)…we may be gaining another very useful player..a warm welcome to Phyllis (c)…Mark is still in the USA. (d)…Gorey’s captain is not answering his phone (e) Results going our way as Drogheda beat Ruy Lopez (Ratoath…where most of our team live…work that one out?) & Bray crunched St Benildus to leave us sitting one point above them with a game in hand. Even the Benildus webmaster admitted that they are now in big trouble at the bottom of the table, and it’s up to us to make the most of our game this Saturday. With Gorey having Manuel Gardenes rated over 2000, who beat the Dinosaur at the Veteran’s Championship, they will be looking to heap more pressure on us and the bottom two, but we’re also hopeful of getting match points. Watch this space!!

Oh Yeah…there’s a club meeting on Thursday in Brady’s at 9pm.
