Danny Dwyer started the ball rolling in the Majors when his opponent was a no-show. A local derby between Gabor Bolkeny & Marius Antohi went the way of Gabor, whilst Sean McLoughlin saw off the challenge of young Dayna Ferguson. All players face tough games this morning, but they can prevail. Robert McLoughlin started off his campaign with a drawn match in the James Mason Cup, and faces John Halpenny from Gorey early today, and a win would keep him in touch with the leaders. O’Hanlon Captain Mark Cummins is out to impress and got off to a fine start beating young Iarla O’Cinneide and was joined by team-mate Mihail Diaconu who recorded his first Congress win. Padraig Dwyer is due to commence his campaign this morning, and hopefully they can all maintain their 100% records. Good luck to everyone.
