The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Keeping up the Western theme regarding the Limerick Open, the title seems appropriate regarding one of our players. In the Open, Rudi lost out to the top seed before beating young Peter Carroll in the 4th round, and faces Shane Melaugh from Elm Mount. These two met in the recent Irish Championship, so its sure bound to be a close one. A High Noon shootout …perhaps. Kevin Fitzpatrick scored a good win over a higher rated Stephen Danaher before meeting the talented David Remenyik from Gorey who proved to be the Shootist in that encounter. Mark has moved to 3/4 in the under 1400 section with a couple of quickfire wins, encompassing all the elements of the title: GOOD.for winning. BAD for walking straight into his opponent’s preparation and UGLY for the sheer mayhem which follows. The Sheriff of Naomh Barrog Desmond Martin lies in wait tomorrow. Good luck Guys…as the Shocks continue to reverberate around the boards.
