Ciallaíonn sé seo go n-úsáidtear na téarmaí fichille i mBéarla agus i nGaeilge agus beidh ár bhfógraí éagsúla i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla
As our annual chess club celebration of Irish language week during March, the junior chess club will hold it’s next Blitz chess tournament “As Gaeilge”. This means that the chess terms are used in both English and Irish and our various announcements will be in Irish and English.
No worries if you don’t have much Irish, as the Blitz event will simply be speed chess played as usual.,
As usual the games will start at 2.30pm. It would be great if parents can help please – set up the room, pieces and especially to run the event on the laptop. We need two volunteers to help with this task and full training will be provided so please talk to Andrew on the day!
