The success of today’s event was due to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. We would like to extend our gratitude to:

Their efforts in organizing the boards, managing the pairings, and encouraging the players to use their Irish made the day a resounding success.

3. Tournament Highlights

  • Perfect Scores: An impressive 5 players achieved a perfect score of 5 out of 5: Jayden, Navinesh, Dev, Aidan, and Reuben.

  • Sportsmanship: The competition was fierce but friendly, with many players utilizing the “Quick Rules” tie-break (head-to-head) to determine rankings.
  • Culture: The opportunity for players to speak Irish (Gaeilge) while competing brought a unique and vibrant atmosphere to the Blanchardstown club.
