This weekend sees the return of the Chess Congresses where some of our members will be taking part. The Championship section sees Luke Scott, Sean McLoughlin, Robert McLoughlin and Gavin Doyle all aim to start the season in form, whilst the Major Section sees the teenagers Vinajak Unitham & Piotr Baczkowski hoping to upset higher seeded opponents. This will give the respective team Captains an early indication for selection, and before I forget…..the Dinosaur will have his eyes on his targets………..food goodie bags!!.
