The Junior chess club will meet as follows:
June 20th (Mountview Sports Hub) at 2.30pm: we will hold a set of all play all tournaments. This will be our last meeting at Mountview until September. It is our last junior meeting of the season
June 22nd: Juniors are welcome to play in our club summer Blitz at Hansfield Educate Together Junior school. This is planned for 7.30pm on Monday 22nd June. It will be fun!
June 27th: No junior chess on this day – unfortunately our planned match against Paris Junior chess club was postponed by Paris. So we have no chess on this date
September 12th: We will meet at 2.30pm to begin the new junior chess season, 2026/27
The Senior chess club (7.30pm on Mondays at Hansfield Junior Educate together) will meet as follows:
June 22nd: A summer blitz will be held. This is the last meeting of this chess season for the seniors. All are welcome and there is no entry fee. As always, prizes will be provided by the Club!
September 7th: the senior club will meet at 7.30pm at Hansfield, to start the new season 2026/27
The Annual General meeting of the club is normally held in the month of June, so please keep an eye out for the coming AGM. A separate notice will be put on website.
