The Junior club will host a team event on 7th June.
Teams will be led by our older teenage members, who will act as playing captains and run the event. 6 teams will participate, with a likely team membership of 4-5 players. These teams will be named tomorrow (May 17th) and work to assemble team squads will start.
If you want to play on a team, please get your name to one of the team captains at the club over the next few weeks, and confirm you can attend to play on June 7th.
Nota bene: This annual team event is led by our teenage members, both in assembling and leading teams as well as running the Swiiss manager or Excel software required to manage a chess team event. All parents/Adults are asked to assist our teenage leaders e.g. by being on time on the day and helping to setting up room/clocks on the day.
