Easter is a busy time for Irish chess.

There are a wide range of events at the Dublin International Chess congress held over the Easter weekend. The ICU calendar details the various events and you can enter online. Normally a flyer is added to the event description page on the website which then provides you with details of playing times, prizes and when rounds start. The events are all held in the Talbot Hotel across town in Stillorgan.
Juniors who played in the Gens Una Sumus Rapid events might enjoy playing in the Rapid event for example. https://www.icu.ie/events/1880. It is held on Friday 18th , starting at 10am.
If you do play in any of the Easter events, you will see a lot of your club mates participating! Please also watch out for a chance to offer lifts to fellow club members as parents can often sensibly share the driving duties over the weekend if organised in time!
