Luke and Rudolf did themselves proud today as they both recorded wins in the prestigious Isle of Man tournament. Luke, playing Black, took the full point from Welsh FM Carl Strugnell, whilst Rudolf’s result was the last to come through…(time trouble Rudi, perhaps?) in his win over English player Alan Ormsby. Their score of 1/3 is alongside that of 7th seed GM Wang Hao, who’s rating is a mere 2701…only 2 players have a 100% record now. GM’s Gujrathi Vidit & Alexei Shirov who needs no explanation.
